Well, many of you I just got in touch with again, so I thought it fitting to give you all an update on the Warner family. My wonderful husband Jeremy and I have been married for 11 years on Valentines Day. We have lived in Pasco, Wa for the past 10 years. We have 2 children...Levi, whose almost 9, and Miles, 14 1/2 months old. We weren't sure if we were going to have any more kids due to the meds I take for my biploar disorder. Then I got off those ones and on to some new ones that they said were ok to take while I was pregnant, so we decided to have another child. He is a super easy baby-always happy! Levi is doing well in 3rd grade this year. He is in a special class for kids with special needs and is thriving in that environment.
Currently Jeremy is going to nursing school and has 2 1/2 quarters left at Columbia Basin College and he'll be an RN! This is a long-awaited career change for him and he will be happy to work one job instead of two. Back when we were first married, he was in the nursing program at Yakima Valley Community College, but due to circumstances with my depression, we moved to the Tri-Cities to be near my family. He wasn't abe to get into the program at CBC, so that put his dream on hold. But now he's almost done and we are so happy about that!
I work at Curves as a trainer for women. I love my job and am fortunate that I am able to only work on Saturdays, and stay home with Miles during the week. I used to work the 5:30 am morning shift. I don't really miss those days. Now I'm lucky if I can get up at 7 to get Levi and Miles going!
I'm going to try to keep up on this blog the best I can so you can all know what's happening. All of you take care and keep in touch!

Special Olympics
Recently we signed Levi up for the Special Olympics. Levi is our 8 year old son(9 in November!).He has Asperger Syndrome, which is a high functioning form of autism. He is super smart, but socially he is behind. These are the kids who don't underststand personal space and don't make eye contact with people for very long. Many, like Levi, have trouble understanding idioms and are very concrete and literal. He also has ADHD and bi-polar to top it off. He has a very short temper and boy, do we have some tantrums at our house on a daily basis. But, he is sweet kid, very artistic and imaginative and loving. Anyway, the special olympic team of Tri-Cities are doing bowling right now. It's a little frustrating for him since they don't have the "bumper lanes" out and he's had his share of gutterballs. But he's learning and it's good socially. He made his first real friend recently and they are having a blast! His mom and I hit it off really well. Her son has Aspergers too, and it's so nice to have someone to talk to who understands!
Tonight is bowling and should be fun with them. I'm praying that he will get a higher score than 32, which is his best so far. But the important thing is he's learning and having fun doing it. That's the latest with our family! More on Miles, our little 14 month old later!
